Also:

Didn't find the 20 off of this EO because skill issue in recognizing 7c8e, and also because I didn't switch a 20 ARM
L' F' B (F) // eo-fb (4/4)

I guess in hindsight 5 moves to 20 may be worth switching on L F B type EOs but idk

funny scramble, 23 seems to be human optimal generally unless you want to do a 13 move DR or 6 move EO
This 22 I guess I was close to finding but I didn't bother checking the 13 to DR:

F2 D' L F B' // eo-fb (5/5)

who would win, 4a1 4e in 11 or 2c5 in 11? apparently it's 2c5 and it's by 2 moves

Anyway, I had 2 separate 22s on this scramble, one from 4a1 4e and one from 2c5

U (F B2 U) // EO
(R' F2 B2 L F' R' F L') // fun 12 4a14e
(U2 F D2) // leave 5e
(D2 L2 D2 B R2 D2 R2 B F2) // solve 5e (22)

D' B (R2 B) // EO
(U' R' D L2 R U R) // 11 2c5, but it kind of looks like R2 U spam
(U' F2 U F2 U' F2 U F2 U' F2) // 2e2e + eslice, but backtrack and see you can cancel it
(D' L2 U' L2 D2 R2 D B U B2 U' B2) // solved (23-1 = 22)

The 4a1 4e in 11 with 24 (unfindable) optimal: B' R' F2 D F D R2 D' R' U' R
L' B2 L2 U D L U D R L' U' D' F2 R2 (14)

I didn't approach this attempt very well as I spent way too much time looking at the 3 movers. It did result in this early in the attempt though:

F' L' B // EO
U L' (D' R2 U R' D2 R) // 11 4b2
D F2 D2 R2 L2 U B2 R2 B2 L2 D2 // 22, which is not even optimal for the DR lol

I found the 8 to 2c3 pretty late because of that so I just went all in. Found the 20 quite quickly and tried to get something better since it looked pretty crazy, but there doesn't seem to be anything there.

2 seperate 22s on this scramble
here is the cool one:

F (B' R' B') // EO
(D2 L2 D L U' L) // 10 4b2 4e
(L2 U2 R2 F2) // OBL
(F2 U' R2 U R2 F2 U' R2 D B2) // PBL (10-2)

F (L2 B' R B')
(U2 L2 R' U' R) // 10 2c3 2e
(D' B2 D) L2 U2 R2 F2 D
L2 U2 F2 R2

for some reason i didn't write the subset on F (B' R B') (L2 F2 D L U' L) 10 4b2 4e so I assumed it was bad didn't check it when it gives 21

And I definitely feel dumb for missing this for 20 when I checked these EOs:
F (mallard premove)
(L' B' R B) //eo (4/4)
(L) //rzp (1/5)

honestly this scramble was so annoying because none of the DRs I had would cooperate and it was all 9 2c4

Missed the EO for the dumb 20 somehow, oops

U F' R D2 B' // EO
U (L) U' D' R2 U D' L // 11 4b2
U (F2 L2 U2 R2 D) // HTR (17)
(F2 R2 B2 L2 B2) // slice (22)
+2 of course, optimal off of DR

also can extend the DR for this other 22 to slice that obviously sucks:
U F' R D2 B' D U2 L2 U' D L' (L) // 12 4b2
R2 D L2 D // HTR (16)
L2 F B' R2 F' B' // 22 to slice and it sucks

Other DRs:
U F' R D2 B' U' (L B2 U2 L2 D' L2 D) // 13 4a1 4e
(B L) R U' L (B2 U) F2 B2 U' L2 U //12 4a1 2e
(R B) F' U' F D L B2 D' R' D R // 12 4b2 2e
Seems that 24 is optimal from my DRs, which is unfortunate but I guess it means I didn't miss anything there.

First I found L2 U R2 L2 D B2 U' L2 F2 D2 F2 L2 F2 for 22 and almost stopped looking miscounting it as 21 but I decided that stopping early on a 4a1 is probably not a good idea

I also never check 4 move EOs on 2 move EOs until a recent convo in the FMC discord so it's funny that this is my first attempt writing some xd

I had this early:
(R' F) (L F2 U') U L2 F2 R2 F2 D' // 11 4b2
(B2 R2 D2 R' U2 R') // HTR
(F2 L2 F2) // 20 to the one slice that doesn't work :(
gives 23 if you finish with (F2 B2 U2 F2 L2 B2 D2)

This was the second EO I checked so i kind of freaked out lol.
I found a 24 pretty much immediately but then I calmed myself down a bit and tried to find something that wasn't 4c4, but in the end I couldn't find much else so I just went all in. Luckily optimal wasn't too tricky to find

of course I didn't write down the EO extension for the 10 4b2 ->20 that surely everyone will find

this is so dumb, I had pretty much nothing (as you can see by me checking these 13 4b2 variations lol)
I was just kinda spamming stupid stuff at the end to see what worked, and maybe I could get some cancel with double slice (wasn't expecting -5 though ??) and this just appeared somehow.

I didn't have a single sub 12 DR this attempt. Best I can find on Mallard is 22

B2 R2 B L B // 9 2c3 2e
(L) U2 D2 R' U2 B2 R' // HTR (16)
 U2 B2 R' L' F2 R' L // 7-2

I also had this very funny 22:
L' B' L2 B // EO
R L2 U' R2 U' R D R' // 12 2c3 but hella block
(U R2 D' L2 D) // HTR
but wait lets back track
(U R2 D L2 D2 L2 D) // insert the 2e2e
(R L' F2 R' L') // 5-2 for 22

There is also:
(L' D' R' D) R B2 R B L B // 10 4a1
I didn't spend much time on it but it looked bad

I forgot about:
(D' R' D F' L F' L' F) which gives 19
I also didn't have (D' R' D) L2 D2 R2 F L F which also gives 19

why is this scramble so short lol

i somehow found a separate 19, 20 and 21 on this scramble, I think that's definitely the best I've ever done on one scramble

(D' B' D' F' L) // EO
B L2 B D R2 D // DR 11 4b2 2e
B (F') // HTR
(R2 U2 B2 D2 B2 L2 F2) // finish
-1 slice because F2 B. There is 18 to slice as well but no +0

20:
L (R' F B2 R) // EO
(B' L2 B2 U) // 9 4a1 6e
B' U2 B U2 D2 F // HTR
U2 R2 D2 R2 F2 // finish

21 (honestly this is probably the coolest of the 3 solutions)

F D' L // EO
F B (D F2 U2 F2 U' F) // 11 2c3 but this is the fun case we can extend the DR:

F D' L F B (D U2 F U2 F U F) // 12 2c3
(U L2 U' R2 F2 U') // HTR
// leave FB slice lol
then +3 for 21
This one was pretty much the first thing I found on the attempt so I was quite relaxed for the rest of it.

Optimal for these variations is 24 only, and you have to go through 4c3 on the variation heavy side to find it so whatever

U2 D2

I spent a lot of time on this DR even after finding the 22 but a lot of that was wasted, I think I could have found this if I wasn't just being stupid but I just forgot to check 5qt in general so idk lol. 5qt on a 10 move finish is crazy though

Anyway this is 20 20 22 = 20.67 pb mean at least
