Why is this my only workable DR on 4/4/2? I found a lot of other 10 move DRs on this that were all bad. Mallard doesn’t seem to find any sub-21 from 4 move EO unless you use 11 to 4c3 lmao

This solution is optimal after EO :)

Scr is 16 opt, and technically explainable with DR but my pants were too small to find it xd

goofy ahh eo count lol

This was a 'bad' scramble but I should not have missed that doing the EO turn as F' instead of F also gives DR in 10, and instead it's 20 optimal.............

This DR is also 22 opt if you extend the trigger but I think the missed 20 is more important than that

another sprint scramble, there are multiple sub-20s here but the one that I shouldnt have missed had this DR:

(D' B' L')
(F' U' R2 U' F B)//2c3 4e

I had (D' B' L' B), and noticed it was anti-JZP but it slipped my mind to consider trying (F) for 8e8c... I hate sprint scrambles

There was also a 7 move DR on this that no one found, leave it as an exercise to the reader.

oh look a scramble with a completely useless 3 mover

This was one of the first few EOs I checked and every time this type of DR from a random niss 5 mover turns up, it ends up being my final almost all the time lol

This EO can give scramble opt if you have large pants:

B' D2 R' D F // eofb (5/5)
(B2 L') // rzpud-eofb (2/7)

yeah this one sucked, I switched every single 4 move EO on this and just about managed to find this slice in time at about 53 mins

there is also a different way to get to DR in 11:

(D' F' U2 L)
F B (D R2 D2 R2 F)//variations but I found nothing

this attempt giving me the PTSD needed to start getting into 5c stuff:

L' U F2 L' // eolr (4/4)
F (B) // rzpud-eolr (2/6)

I found this at like 15 mins while just solving the cube to restart as it was one of the first EOs I checked lmao

You can even do 19 to slice from this but it doesn't +0:

L (L' F' D L)
(F B' D F B2 U)
(B') U2 R2 F
U2 R2 B2 U2

I found this 8+2 eventually, and spent almost all the remaining time on it:

(B U B' D)
R2 F D2 L//4b2 2e (8)

You can change B to B' for 2c4 in 8, add a slice into the EO for 4b2 in 9, do U2 R2 F D2 L or D2 L2 B' U2 L for 4b2 in 9, slice the DR line, or do any combination of those, I thought for sure I missed a sub-20 at the end of the attempt, but it doesn't seem possible

Looking at it now, I checked R2 F D2 L EO first, but did not even mark that as a 78 to switch???
