I felt like this finish was optimal but it turns out it’s not: F’ L U F’ (U2 R) U’ F2 L D L2 U2 R2 F2 D B2 R' L D2 R’ L'//classic difficult double slice for 20 final

After I found this I did not try too hard to finish my other DRs and I was kind of alternating between chilling and writing out funny 5 movers in the hopes of a random lucky 19, but that didn’t give anything. Getting 2 9 move finishes in 1 day is kind of crazy... I had this other 9+4 before finding the 1q DR, I looked at it briefly after finding 20 and it immediately gave 21 to slice though it wasn’t useful: (U’ D’) L2 R2 U’ B (B2 L2 B)//2c4 needing 2ht before qt on both sides skull R2 F2 L U2 R U2 F2 R U2 R’ U2 R2//21 to slice I hoped that starting this round with a 20 would help to shake off the bad feeling of DNFing in the previous round but the upcoming attempts would tell a different story...
