Optimal after U’ D2 F 🙂

6/8/8 not great, but at least it had quite a lot of 4 move EOs. I was writing a lot of 5 move extensions of the 4 movers in the EO phase but upon finding the 10+1 early I ended up not checking many of them.

I had this backup that I found before working on the above DR:

(F’ R’ U L’ B’)
(R’ F2 D R’ U R)//0c0 2e 😮
U’ L2 B2 L2 U’
L2 F2 D2 L2 F2 D2//22

I also had this 9+4:

(U’ F L’ R’)
U (B R2 B U)

I really needed to shit and I already had the 20 at like 35-40 mins but I didn’t want to leave in case it bothered anyone lmao

6/4/4 is better than the previous scramble but the result is worse xd

There were 2 3 move EOs on this but they were useless as usual. Funnily enough I remembered my blunder at the previous comp and went straight to trying a reduction into 4b2 4e and it immediately gave me a 21.

For the rest of the attempt I was trying many ways to get to DR differently in the hopes that it could give 4a1 4e with some luckier finish but it doesnt seem to be possible. Optimal after (B’ U2 F2) or (B’ D2 B2) are both 20 but they’re garbage so I think this is optimal after EO

I didn’t really get anything else noteworthy on this scramble other than some mid 11+2s that I can’t be bothered to type, I didn’t really look at them anyway.

4/6/10 is funny, I was under the impression that this was a ‘i need to switch rzp in 6’ kind, which explains why I switched this deranged RZP. Then when trying to solve the cube and start over I immediately found this funny solution and had a backup out of nowhere lol

Turns out you don’t really need RZP in 6 because I also found this 9+3 later:

R U L2 B
(U) L2 U R’ U’
B2 D2 L D2 L F2 U2 L’
F2 L2 D2 B2//21 to slice and +1, but the above solution is funnier so I used that instead
