Really cool solution. 6/6/6 but there were some nice 4 move EOs.

I had this at like 35-40 mins in bits and pieces on the paper and I spent most of the remaining time on a 8+4 DR. It is 20 optimal and Tamura-san managed to find it, but I missed it because I spent most of my time playing with this 8e8c stuff.

I also spent more time than I should have trying to rework the solution with no wide moves/rotations rather than just writing it with all the ugly stuff.

Optimal after (F' L F2 R F) is 21, and (F' R U2 L F) is 20 but it's complete junk, so 21 is probably the best I could've done from this start.

4/6/6 is a better EO count than the previous, but there weren't that many 4 movers so I felt the need to look at RZP in 6 more carefully. The post HTR can be reworked into a 18 to E slice but it can't be solved in 0 or 1.

This is optimal after EO.

6/6/6 again... I initially wrote the DR variation B' D2 L2 F' B2 U and had a 22 to slice from it that did not solve in 0. I found the final leave slice pretty early actually but I skill issued and assumed the variant was 1 move longer for some reason. Only at 55-56 minutes did I realise I actually had a 22 to slice so I did a panic slice and managed to find the +0 lol

Optimal finish among both variants.

Other DRs:

R (R2 U2 L')
(F' U' R2 B' L2 U)//4b2, there is a very easy 22 from inverse but I totally missed it lol (10)

(L) F R
U' B (D2 F2 R2 D' F)//2c3 (10)

Overall: I’m very surprised I managed to get 4 consecutive sub-22 means in this tour. This also gives me a 21.1 ao12 without any sub-21 mo3 in it which is kind of wild.
