imagine tying PR mean and single in round 1 and then doing that again in round 2 comments at the time: Didn't podium, but it's hard to feel too bad about it. All it really means is that other people have improved, and that's great! I actually wasn't feeling well the night before, so I didn't really sleep well. Thankfully it wasn't a problem during the comp. (but seriously when am I going to get anything better than 24.00; this is so cursed)

Optimal from DR; in fact all +11s use this HTR.

Optimal from the original DR is +13/25, optimal from the variation is +11/23
(using a 3q 2c4e trigger I don't, but should, know).

@ = L2 F2 B2 R2 U R2 F2 B2 L2 D' // H perm (10-4/27)

Optimal from DR is +13/23 using 4q. Structure is similar: do 1 qt on inverse,
then switch back to normal and set up to 2c2e trigger.

Other:
R2 U' B // EO 4c2e (3/3)
U2 L R' U' L2 U // DR 2c4 2e (6/9) (+14/23)

(R2 F L' D) // EO (4/4)
(L . L' B2 L B' L' B' L) // DR 4a2 2e (8-2/10) (+15/25)
Thought this one was cool because the RZP is DR-3c, and every DR-3c is 7 moves
away from DR. In reality, it's 3c4e converted to 3c0e, then unconverted and
converted differently to 3c2e.

Very disappointed because it's 4/2/4 EO and I just could not capitalise on it.

I had the 23 written down on the answer sheet at around 57 minutes, was starting
to get relaxed (albeit with a tinge of disappointment because there was almost
no hope of podium), then I thought that it would be really stupid if I missed
a cancellable slice and did a quick look-over. Found the cancellable slice, did
the cancellation, checked it with like 20 seconds left on the clock.

Optimal from DR is +11/19. (?!) Just do HTR on normal…??
R B' U2 L // EO 4c4e (4/4)
(L2 U D' F) // DR 4a3 (4/8)
B2 U' L2 U' L2 U2 F2 U' // HTR (8/16)
B2 L2 B2 // fin (3/19)

The actual first solution I found was a blockbuilding finish off this DR:
R B' U2 L // EO 4c4e (4/4)
(L2 U D' F) // blocky DR (4/8)
@ F2 U' L2 U' L2 U L2 B2 // ab3c (8/16)
@ = U F2 U' B2 U F2 U' B2 // fin (8/24)
(but lol no cancellation)
Other:
D U2 L F' // EO (4/4)
U D . R' B2 D' R2 D' // DR 2c3 4e (7/11) (+13/24)
